As a client of Linde Equity, you will be kept fully appraised of the progress and changes within your portfolio. This applies to both clients of Investment Counsel and Portfolio Management. The key distinction lies in the order that you receive your information.
If you are an Investment Counsel client, we present our investment idea with description and analysis to you first, before getting authorization to buy the security. As Portfolio Management client, you receive the description and analysis the day the purchase has been made in your account via an e-mail trade confirmation. Whether you desire to be an Investment Counsel client or Portfolio Management client depends largely on how involved you want to be in the individual buy and sell decisions in your account.
Surveys have revealed that poor communication between the financial advisor and client ranks as one of the two most common complaints among Canadian investors. As a result, Linde Equity follows a rotating schedule to ensure all clients are communicated with on a regular basis. Our clients appreciate receiving a phone call from us once every three months to perform a quarterly review of their portfolio.
