Portfolio Management
Linde Equity Portfolio Management provides a transparent and cost-effective investment service to clients seeking discretionary portfolio management of their investment account. Client accounts are set up at TD Waterhouse Institutional Services where they are individually managed by Linde Equity according to guidelines provided by the client. These guidelines are largely based upon the personal return objective and risk tolerance of the client.
As a Portfolio Management client, your account will benefit from the research and advice of Linde Equity. While Linde Equity will have discretion to make individual buy and sell decisions, you will remain fully informed of every trade via e-mail trade confirmations, which include descriptions and analysis of new purchases.
Linde Equity aims to fulfill the following desires as if we were a potential client looking for a new portfolio manager:
- I want a portfolio manager with a published track record.
- My portfolio manager will have sophisticated knowledge on all types of investments including stocks, bonds, preferred shares and income trusts.
- My portfolio manager will be skilled at researching stocks.
- My portfolio manager will communicate with me on a regular basis.
- I will pay my portfolio manager a management fee only, not commissions.
- My portfolio manager will be 100% independent, making decisions based solely on investment merit.

What is an Investment Counsel?
Investment Counsellors provide up-scale professional portfolio management and investment advice to individual investors. They are the most qualified category of investment advisors in the industry with professional accreditations that meet the highest academic and experience standards. Unlike most financial planners and brokers, who collect commissions for selling product or executing trades, Investment Counsellors are paid only for their advice. The counsellor's remuneration only increases by growing your portfolio value, keeping your interest and theirs aligned. There is no conflict of interest.
